This policy explains the approved payment channels, currencies, invoices, transaction verification, international charges, recurring billing and payment-security procedures applicable to offers presented through chudeypride.com.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to payments for digital products, consulting services, coaching, editing, executive education, masterclasses, workshops, memberships, briefings, events, sponsorships and other authorised offers presented through chudeypride.com.
The payment terms stated on a specific product page, proposal, quotation, invoice, checkout page, sponsorship confirmation or service agreement form part of this policy and take priority where they contain more specific arrangements.
2. Approved Payment Channels
Payments must be made only through an approved channel displayed on an authorised checkout page, invoice or official corporate communication.
Selar
Selar may be used for digital products, memberships, programmes and selected services offered to customers in Nigeria and other eligible locations.
Paystack
Paystack may be used for selected Nigerian payments, services, programmes and authorised payment links.
Secure Bank Transfer
Bank transfer may be approved for consulting, institutional, corporate, Cabo Verde and other invoiced engagements.
Customers must not make payment to an account, mobile number, wallet or payment link that has not been supplied through the website, an authorised invoice or an official company email.
3. Contracting and Receiving Entity
The entity receiving or administering payment will be identified on the relevant checkout page, invoice, receipt, proposal or payment confirmation.
Depending on the offer and market, payment may be administered through Rose Bridge Consulting Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda, an approved affiliated entity or an authorised third-party payment or commerce platform.
The payer is responsible for confirming that the entity, product, service, amount and currency shown at checkout or on the invoice correspond with the intended transaction.
4. Currencies
Prices may be displayed or invoiced in United States dollars, Nigerian naira, Cabo Verde escudos, euros or another expressly stated currency.
The currency shown at checkout or on the authorised invoice is the transaction currency and determines the amount payable.
A customer using a card or account denominated in another currency may be charged a converted amount by the card issuer, bank or payment platform.
Exchange rates, conversion margins and foreign-transaction charges are determined by the relevant financial institution or payment provider and are outside our control.
5. Prices and Quotations
Published prices apply only to the product, service, programme or access expressly described.
Custom consulting, institutional services, editing, training, sponsorship and specialised assignments may require a separate quotation, proposal or invoice.
A quotation remains valid only for the period stated. Where no validity period is specified, availability, pricing and commencement dates remain subject to confirmation before payment.
Third-party operational costs such as travel, venue hire, printing, certified translation, audiovisual production, media placement, advertising, specialist suppliers and similar external services are excluded unless expressly included or separately approved in writing.
6. Invoices and Billing Documents
An authorised invoice or billing document may include:
- The legal name and contact details of the issuing entity.
- The applicable tax or business identification information.
- A description of the product, service or engagement.
- The amount, currency and payment deadline.
- The approved payment channel and payment reference.
- Applicable instalments, milestones, taxes, deductions or special terms.
Clients should review invoices promptly and report any suspected error before making payment.
Invoices and receipts may be issued electronically.
7. Secure Bank Transfers
Bank account details are not published openly on the website.
Where bank transfer is approved, the relevant details will be supplied privately through an authorised invoice or official corporate correspondence.
The payer must use the stated invoice number, customer name or payment reference so that the transaction can be identified.
A service, programme or delivery may remain pending until cleared funds are received and matched with the relevant invoice.
Customers should independently verify any unexpected change to previously issued bank details before making payment.
8. Card and Online Payments
Visa, Mastercard or other payment methods may be available through Selar or Paystack depending on the payer’s country, card issuer, platform availability and the particular checkout page.
Card information is entered directly into the relevant payment provider’s system. We do not require customers to send complete card details by email, telephone, messaging application or website contact form.
A payment may be declined, delayed or subjected to additional verification by the card issuer or payment provider.
9. International Payments and Charges
The payer is responsible for any charges imposed by banks, card issuers, payment platforms, intermediary institutions or currency-conversion providers.
Where an international transfer is used, the amount received must equal the full invoiced amount unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.
Shortfalls caused by transfer fees, intermediary deductions or conversion charges remain payable by the client.
Any legally required withholding or institutional deduction must be disclosed before payment and supported with appropriate official evidence.
10. Payment Timing and Commencement
Unless otherwise stated, digital products and public programmes require full payment before access or registration is confirmed.
Consulting, institutional and customised engagements may require:
- Full payment in advance.
- An advance deposit or commencement fee.
- Payment by agreed milestones.
- Monthly payment in advance.
- Another arrangement expressly stated in the proposal, invoice or agreement.
Failure to make payment by the due date may delay commencement, delivery, access, reporting or continuation of the engagement.
11. Memberships and Recurring Billing
Where an offer uses recurring billing, the applicable amount and billing frequency will be disclosed before payment.
By activating recurring billing, the customer authorises the payment provider to charge the selected payment method according to the stated schedule until cancellation or termination.
The customer is responsible for cancelling before the next billing date where renewal is no longer required.
A failed recurring payment may result in suspended membership, delayed services or loss of access until the account is brought up to date.
12. Payment Confirmation and Records
Customers should retain invoices, checkout confirmations, receipts, bank records and transaction references.
Where payment cannot be automatically matched, the customer may be asked to provide:
- The payer’s name.
- The transaction date and amount.
- The payment reference.
- The product, programme, invoice or service concerned.
- A receipt or redacted transaction confirmation.
Customers should not send passwords, full card numbers, security codes or other unnecessary financial credentials.
13. Payment Security and Verification
Legitimate invoices and payment instructions should originate from the website, an approved checkout platform or an official email associated with chudeypride.com.
Customers should contact the corporate email before paying where:
- An invoice contains unfamiliar account details.
- A payment instruction changes unexpectedly.
- A person requests payment through a private or unverified channel.
- The amount, currency or service description differs from the agreed transaction.
- There is concern about impersonation, fraud or unauthorised communication.
We will never request complete card information, online-banking passwords, one-time security codes or account login credentials by email or messaging application.
14. Failed, Pending or Reversed Payments
A pending transaction is not treated as completed until the payment provider or receiving institution confirms successful settlement.
Where a transaction fails or is reversed, access, registration or service delivery may be suspended until a replacement payment is completed.
Customers who believe they have been charged despite receiving a failed-payment message should first check their bank or card record and then contact us with the relevant transaction information.
15. Fraud Prevention and Chargebacks
Transactions may be reviewed, delayed, declined or cancelled where there is a reasonable fraud, identity, payment, compliance or security concern.
Access may be suspended following a payment reversal or chargeback.
Customers should contact us before initiating a chargeback so that any delivery, access, invoice or cancellation concern can be investigated.
Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in termination of access and recovery of reasonable costs.
16. Refunds, Credits and Transfers
Refunds, credits, transfers and non-refundable payments are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy and any specific terms stated for the relevant offer.
Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment channel where possible.
Payment-processing, bank, intermediary and currency-conversion fees may be non-refundable where they cannot be recovered from the relevant provider.
17. Taxes, Withholding and Institutional Requirements
Applicable taxes and billing treatment will be reflected on the relevant invoice or transaction record where required.
An organisation proposing to deduct tax, withholding or another mandatory amount must disclose the requirement before payment and provide the necessary official documentation or certificate.
Procurement, vendor-onboarding and institutional billing requirements should be communicated before the invoice is issued.
18. Payment Information and Privacy
Personal and transaction information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Third-party payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies, terms and security systems.
We may retain invoices, receipts, payment references and related records where reasonably required for accounting, compliance, contractual, dispute-resolution and business-administration purposes.
